Full Dentures
Full dentures are required when a full set of teeth need to be replaced. They fit over the entire gum and are held in place by a natural suction effect that is caused by fitting closely onto the residual ridges of your gums.
Partial Dentures
If you have a few missing teeth but your remaining teeth are healthy, you can be fitted with a partial denture to fill in any gaps. These dentures come in the form of temporary transitional partial dentures made of gum colored resin or more durable removable partial dentures that utilize lightweight metal to hold the artificial teeth in place.
How are Dentures Made?
As fit and comfort are key to getting the best results from your dentures, the fitting process is very important. We will use impression material to obtain a mold of your mouth. Lab technicians, overseen by Dr. Lo, will then build your denture, carefully selecting prosthetic teeth that will give you a natural, attractive smile as well as full functionality. Your permanent dentures will then be fitted and our team will give you all the information you need on caring for and living with your new smile.
